Developing social, emotional and behavioural skills in secondary schools - Ofsted notices the difference |
The Diploma Roadshow continues as an important part of the Diploma campaign. This year the Roadshow operators have changed the format in order to provide more flexibility for local areas and spread the available resource more widely. A Diploma-specific event kit will be available for use and will include inflatable pods, touch-screen kiosks, print collateral and branding. The event kit is designed primarily to raise the level of understanding of the Diploma by young people, but could also help communications with parents. It could be used to either enhance an existing, planned event, or to create a stand alone Diploma event. Every individual consortium that was successful in Gateways 1, 2 or 3, is entitled to a minimum of one event kit free of charge for one session. The service will be available for use from November 2009 and all consortia should have received an information pack containing full details on the offer and booking process. To secure a roadshow this year, please make sure you've booked by Monday 23 November.
In the meantime, if you do have any queries, please contact the Roadshow operator, TRO, on 01603 785770. |
