Connexions Direct and Schools

 

This is a national service, offering a backdrop of support to local providers of information, advice and guidance to young people. Connexions Direct is another strand to the Connexions Service and complements the work of local Connexions Personal Advisers and Connexions services.

The helpline offers support from trained advisers 365 days a year, via telephone, webchat, email and SMS text message. 33 Young people can talk individually to an adviser on-line while at school. BUT if a whole class tries to access the service at once it may stop a young person in need getting through.

So, if you want to access Connexions Direct as part of a lesson, teachers and tutors can email teachersupport@cxdirect.com to discuss their requirements in advance. Our helpline advisers can then set up a group chat room or webchat session at a time that suits you.
