Careers in the 21st Century
Developing Career Competencies for young people in FE

The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) are holding a series of free dissemination workshops at a number of regional venues during February and March.

LSIS has been working with FE providers to identify effective practice in careers education and guidance for young people in the FE Sector.

Are you a manager, adviser, tutor, assessor, coach or mentor delivering careers education, information, advice or guidance in the Post 16 sector in Work-Based Learning, or in a College, or in Offender Learning?

This is an opportunity to be at the cutting edge of developments in your area of work and influence policy and practice by attending a free workshop, offered by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS). This will give you the chance to:

  1. Network and share effective practice
  2. Find out about how recent policy developments are going to impact on careers education advice and guidance
  3. Explore the new Blueprint approach to developing career competencies for young people
  4. Have a say in how your CPD needs might be met
  5. Update on new resources being commissioned

To reserve a free place at one of the workshops below please fill out form below and email to Grace Cheng at grace.cheng@lsis.org.uk
