Employer speakers at careers events

These volunteers are available to speak at careers events about their sector, its links to education and their own experiences within it.

They are all passionate about their sectors, the skills requirements of those sectors and are well-informed on education developments, including how apprenticeships, Diplomas and general qualifications inter-relate. These Champions represent a very diverse range of UK employer activity - a full list can be found at www.dcsf.gov.uk/14-19/decn - with particularly strong representation from the hospitality, engineering/ construction, hair and beauty, and the creative and media sectors.

To request a speaker, please email Rob.McKenzie@educationandemployers.org and ask for a Champion request form. As it's a volunteer network, the more notice you can provide, the more confident we are of identifying a speaker for you, but all requests are welcome and we will do the best we can to arrange support for your event.
