TDA career-related subject resources

TDA is currently working with subject associations from citizenship, art and design and geography to develop new resources which should be publicly available in March.

Supporting teachers delivering IAG is currently a principal strand of the TDA’s work. They have developed several online continuing professional development (CPD) resources that clarify the recent 14-19 reforms and identify sources of specialist IAG to help support students. The resources explain how learning routes through the 14-19 phase have expanded. Sections include helping teachers to embed IAG within subject delivery, teacher and school responsibilities with regard to IAG, the benefits of IAG for students and an introduction to IAG for trainees in initial teacher training. The resources are all available from the TDA’s new IAG web pages at: www.tda.gov.uk/teachers/iag/ceg.
