Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure Update

The Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure DDP has produced an extensive list of progression illustrations highlighting career pathways from each level of Diploma learning. The illustrations provide an insight into the varied career roles available to Diploma students as well as the route in which they achieved their employment in the sector. Each illustration includes an overview of the student’s pathway, Diploma details, description of the additional / specialist learning undertaken, a project title and the work experience gained through their route into eventual employment.

DDP member, Sue Hook said “the progression illustrations will provide potential students, parents, employers and education providers with examples of the types of career routes available to those learners who undertake the Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure in 2010. The illustrations are diverse and highlight the wide range of potential job roles within the sector.”
