Modern Apprenticeships now available online

From November 2009, Improve will be introducing ‘MA Online’ in Scotland, an electronic system for Modern Apprenticeships. Once the system is up and running it will become the only method for Modern Apprenticeship Centres (MACs) to register, monitor and certify Food and Drink Modern Apprenticeships.

This electronic system owned by the Scottish Alliance has already been well received by MACs delivering training with other Sector Skills Councils. The system offers many advantages including ease of use, as well as the functionality to run queries in order to gather accurate Apprenticeship information.

Existing MACs will be offered training on how to make the best use of MA Online. New Providers wishing to offer Apprenticeships in Food and Drink should contact Pete Johnson by email at peter.johnson@improveltd.co.uk If approved the Provider will then become a MAC and be given access to MA Online.
