Two more CEIAG quality awards achieve national validation

Shadow Education Secretary, Tristram Hunt MP, presented The Quality in Careers Standard at the CEG Summit Conference in London earlier this month to The Greater Merseyside Career Connect CEIAG Quality Award and the Stoke on Trent CEIAG Quality Award (shown in the photo). These became the 7th & 8th Awards to meet the national standard. Dr. Barrie Hopson, Chair of the Quality in Careers Consortium which oversees the national validation process said "The two Award providers receiving their national validation from Tristram Hunt are outstanding examples of how a CEIAG Award can significantly help both to raise and then maintain the profile of CEIAG in schools and colleges.”
